Is this the same thing as “early intervention”?
ID15® and the RTW Solution® are very different from traditional early intervention models. First, RTW identifies high-risk claims based on the injured employee’s individual behavioral and psychosocial characteristics, whereas the standard practice in the industry is to focus on diagnosis code. Then, a customized intervention strategy focused on prompt medical delivery, quality care and early return to work is designed and delivered specifically for that individual.
It is important to note that ID15® and the RTW Solution® are delivered by a licensed nurse rather than a claims adjuster. With their medical training and expertise as well as their role as an advocate, our nurses are better positioned to effectively manage medical treatment and reduce disability duration.
