RTW writes workers' compensation insurance through its wholly-owned insurance subsidiary, American Compensation lnsurance Company (ACIC) and through ACIC’s wholly owned subsidiary, Bloomington Compensation lnsurance Company (BCIC).  ACIC is presently licensed to write insurance in twenty-seven states, with primary operations in Minnesota, Michigan and Colorado. BCIC is currently licensed and operating in Minnesota, Colorado and Michigan.

RTW's staff handles all of the underwriting, accounting, case and claim management duties necessary to support our insurance operations. We provide outstanding service and are committed to meeting your needs as an insured.

In January of 2008, A.M. Best (Best) of Oldwick, New Jersey, the most recognized leading independent analyst of insurance companies, assigned ACIC and BCIC "A- (excellent, secure)."

ACIC and BCIC are supported by excellent reinsurance programs utilizing reinsurers that have a minimum Best rating of A-.  During an earlier comprehensive review of ACIC, Best observed the following regarding The RTW Solution^®.
